Takagi Ramen has built a reputation as a go-to budget-friendly ramen chain in Singapore, serving up hearty and affordable bowls designed for hardworking locals. We previously visited their main outlet in Ang Mo Kio, but this time, we stumbled upon their ‘express’ version.

Torijin is a ramen shop in Singapore by the renowned Les Amis Group, which also runs the 3 Michelin-starred Les Amis restaurant. Torijin sets itself apart with its rich, creamy chicken broth, offering a lighter yet satisfying alternative to traditional pork-based ramen.

Ie-kei (家系) ramen, which hails from Yokohama, is known for its thick noodles in a rich, soy-flavored pork broth, often referred to as tonkotsu-shoyu. What makes it unique is the concept of ajihen (味変), where you can continuously adjust the flavors by adding different seasonings throughout the meal.
